The Outer Banks of North Carolina

The Outer Banks. Just hearing those three words conjures up visions of sand dunes, kites and lighthouses. It’s one of my favorite places in the world, and if I weren’t so worried about it washing away altogether I would buy a house and retire there one day. Each time we visit I am filled with a sense of wholeness and peace.

  1. These photos are dreamy, made even more so because we’re looking out of our Knoxville, Tennessee windows at snow flurries! Oh, to be at the beach this week!
